Importing and Processing ERS2 Images in .E2 format

Dear All,

I have 145 ERS2 images in .E2 format, downloaded using EOLI software, from my study area and I would like to process these images by doris+stamps. In importing step, which is done by link_slcs script, I have an error that this format is not supported by this script.

How can I process these images with .E2 format by doris+stamps software? I do really appreciate if someone guide and help me.

Hi Sayyed,

You can rename your data from ex.  SAR_IMS_1PNESA19930610_091525-00000018C095_00279_09943-0000.E1 to  ASA_IMS_1PNESA19930610_091525-00000018C095_00279_09943-0000.N1  and in chapter 4 you use the commands for Envisat.

Thank you so much. It worked correctly for me. By this solution, do you see any problem or error in final results? I'm worried that this changing in the name of files causes an error in final results because we read the ERS-2 images instead of Envisat images.
