Financial Business Analyst in NY
Location – New York City
2 Year Contract with 6 monthly reviews
My
client has open BA positions in their
NYC office in support of project enhancements and initiatives for their FX
(Foreign Exchange) business line.
Responsibilities include gathering and writing business requirements, writing
project proposals and material, writing test scripts/test cases and provide
testing support including UAT, Business Acceptance Testing and Defect
Management.
-Ideally they are looking for a candidate with at least 3-5 years of experience
working as a Business Analyst.
-Hands on experience with SQL (writing queries, statements, etc.)
-FX and financial services experience
is highly preferable.
-Strong communication and presentation skills
Product Development Key
Activities/Elements:
- Support product development initiatives across the
foreign exchange business, which includes project management support and
oversight over testing and implementation.
- Evaluate operational service levels on new and
existing products.
- Partner with business users, project managers and
test managers to coordinate testing and implementation plans for new products.
- Articulate projects and product proposals to sales
and relationship managers.
- Participate in professional networks to gather
best industry practices.
- Assist with the development and modification of product
announcements and client communications
Business Analysis Key
Activities/Elements:
- Assist in the development of cost models
for existing and new business initiatives.
- Review and prepare business requirements.
- Research and analyze the impact of market changes
to BBH clients.
- Assist in the identification of process
improvements to lower costs and improve efficiencies.
- Leverage expertise to other BBH lines of business.
- Document procedures, opportunities, best
practices, project goals and workflows.
- Oversee projects and report progress to
relevant areas.
