.
Many Years ago I attended an MVS/XA structure and logic class.
.
In that class there were diagrams of the TCB Structure for Started Task, Batch Jobs, and TSO logon address space.
I'm talking about the address space TCB structure (Region Control Task, Dump Services, STC Control, etc.).
.
Are these diagrams available with z/OS. and if so where can I Find it ?

You can use the MVS DUMP command to create an SVC dump for each of the
three different types of address spaces. Then, in IPCS:

1. Select option '2' (Analysis)

2. Select option '6i' (Level 2 Toolkit)

3. Select 'TCBMAP'

There is a simple TCB overview figure in this old MVS/XA logic manual:
http://www.prycroft6.com.au/misc/download/GC28-1348-0_MVSXAoverview_Mar84OCR.pdf

There are other manuals that go into much detail about the many fields in the MVS TCB but this is one of the few "30,000" foot view diagrams that is actually useful on page 6-6. E.Clay

If you have SDSF on z/OS 2.3, you can issue the "JT" action command against any address space to see its TCB/RB structure.

The display indents the fixed field TCB one character when it is a daughter of another TCB.
