Hello to you all,

I'm Milena, Chris Mason's daughter.

I'm writing to you, to inform you that, unfortunately, dad passed away on
Sunday January 6th.

The funeral service will be held next Thursday January 17th in
Court-Saint-Etienne, Belgium.

It would be difficult for me to attend. But I would like
to thank you for letting us know. Chris was an esteemed
contributor to the list and he will be missed.

Hello Milena,

Your father was a respected contributor to this list and to several other IBM mailing lists. His expertise was unmatched, and the thoroughness and wide-ranging scope of his answers to the questions that list members asked was legendary.

He will be missed.

Milena, please accept condolences from me. I knew your father only
through his online posts. Passionate and diligent, at times to the
point of single-mindedness, he'll be missed both here and in other
fora for the extensive and valuable assistance he gave over many years.
