This year's keynote speaker will be Jon Zibbell, Phd, Health Scientist with US CDC, Division of Viral Hepatitis. Jon is a medical anthropologist whose research has involved immersive fieldwork among persons who inject drugs in New England. He presents widely on hepatitis C, drug use and hepatitis C prevention. Jon's keynote address will focus on the intersection between culture, stigma, drug use behaviors and health outcomes such as infectious disease.
