I’m reaching out with quick news – Congresswoman Pingree’s Working Waterfronts bill, H.R. 3160 Keep America's Waterfronts Working Act is being heard tomorrow by the HNR (House Natural Resources) committee. This is the link to the livestream https://naturalresources.house.gov/hearings/remote-fc-legislative-hearing-notice_june-22-2021 It is taking place tomorrow at 3:00
The Congresswoman is very hopeful that her schedule will allow her to speak before the committee in support of the bill. Unfortunately at this time we don’t know if she’ll be able to, but she has remarks prepared that highlight the critical need for support of this legislation to share with her colleagues either way.
Looking forward to seeing some strong support of this bill from our colleagues as it moves through the process, and in large part that is thanks to your continued work and advocacy in this space.
