Hugh Awalt's passing and funeral service

Those of you who have been singing Sacred Harp in the Maine community for over ten years will likely remember Hugh and Marjorie Awalt.  

Marge is blind and years ago Hugh undertook the printing of a considerable part of the Sacred Harp to braille. Hugh was a strong base and and Marge a fine alto.

I received notice of Hugh's recent death from Hal Booth yesterday.  Marge would love to have some singers there to sing a few SH tunes as people were gathering for Hugh's funeral service this coming Saturday (10th)

The service is at Christ Church Episcopal in Gardiner.  The service is at 10:30 so it would be good to be there at 10:10.  The church is located at 2 Dresden Ave.
