Hi everyone

Just wanted to let you all know that the first Rails Camp New England
will be happening this July, from the 17th to 20th, up in Bryant Pond,
Maine.

http://railscamps.com
http://groups.google.com/group/rcne

It's going to be a small, casual long weekend unconference - come
along with participation in mind. There'll be plenty of hacking,
socialising, talks, and drinking. It costs $120, which includes a bed
to sleep on and meals. If this sounds like your kind of thing, you
should probably go register now:

Now, I am not a local, but I'm not doing most of the hard work on this
anyway - some New England rubyists (Brian Cardarella in particular)
are helping to put this event together. I've helped make Rails Camps
happen back in Australia, and I'm happy to get it happening here
because they really are a massive amount of fun, and I like to see
others share in that fun.

Oh, and we do try to keep things offline (but on a local network, of
course). Hopefully you can survive without the internet for a few days.

So, if you want to come hack and chat with other interesting and
talented Ruby minds (and yes, it's not just about Rails - that's just
the legacy name from previous events), it'd be great to have you join
us. And don't feel as if you have to be an expert in Ruby - as long as
you've got an interest to learn and share, you'll fit right in.

If you've got any questions, suggestions or comments, don't hesistate
to let me know.

Cheers

Hi all

Just a quick note that there's still some places left, and to ensure
we get as close to a full house as possible, I'm going to start
mentioning the event on non-New England ruby lists.

So: if you've been thinking about signing up, now's a great time to do
so. If you're uncertain about it all, I'm happy to answer any questions.

Cheers
