The family of Andrew Joseph Deraspe, Sr. of Carmel, Maine who passed away peacefully March 29th, 2021, after a bout with cancer, has requested the presence of the PGR to Stand in Honor of their Hero.

 

Drafted into the Army, Andrew proudly served in the Vietnam Conflict as a platoon sergeant with the 25th infantry (Triple Deuce). He was combat wounded in the Boi Loi Woods November 1969, and returned home a distinguished veteran receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Purple Heart.

 

Andrew will be interred at Augusta Veteran's Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Section CN, On Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 0900 with a full military funeral.

 

Staging will be at the Cemetery, Wednesday, July 14, 2021,at 08:45 for a flag Line in Honor of Andrew Deraspe
