Honor Mission Richard Durost, US Army, Korea. July 19 0845, Maine Veteran's Cemetery Augusta

The family of Richard “Dick” E. Durost, 91, of Augusta, Maine, who died on Feb. 15, 2021, at Togus VA Hospital, has requested the PGR Stand in Honor of their Hero.

 

Dick served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. After returning home and getting married, he worked for a couple years at Pratt and Whitney in Connecticut before returning to Maine and working at Worumbo Woolen Mill. He retired from the US Postal service in December 1989.

 

Staging NLT 08:45  for a flag line July 19, 2021 at the Maine Veterans Cemetery on 163 Mt Vernon Rd. section H , Augusta Maine. The service will be held at 0900.

 

For those wishing to ride in as a group, we will leave the Augusta Civic Center parking lot at 0830
