I, Bryan Card, Giovanni Coordinator, Hereby propose the following Amendment.
Per Coordinator bylaws 3.C.III
Genre Coordinators must pass before Council any plot, enforced policy, R&U named characters, or binding edict they wish to use which they can reasonably expect to affect multiple chronicles and these proposals need not be seconded, but go immediately into discussion.
If no opposition is voiced during the week of discussion, the proposal is considered passed
and enforceable. Once passed these are considered binding to all chronicles and
a chronicles refusal to adhere is grounds for OWBN disciplinary measures.
Opposition must be in regards to the content of the proposal and must give those reasons why the
objection is voiced. This is to allow Coordinator's the opportunity to respond
and/or make changes/remove the proposal
and its contents.
This bylaw addition is simply to bring the 2009 Giovanni genre packet into compliance with recent bylaw changes. Appropriate sections of the packet are directly quoted for support.
FAQ
Why require approval for non-Giovanni adoption into Clan Giovanni with no grandfathering?
The council approved genre packet is clear that such an adoption requires
Giovanni coordinator and storyteller approval and goes so far as to recommend a
binding agreement.
From the genre packet: “The following shall be the genre standers for adoption into the family: ONLY with the approval of the Giovanni Coordinator and the PC’s StoryTeller. In most cases, this will require a binding agreement to be signed by all parties.”
I propose the addition of the following to Coordinator approval bylaw 3.E.1;
Non-Giovanni adopted into Clan Giovanni
Honestly doesnt matter to me i have no plans on adopting anyone unless one of the other gios wants to
Yeah I don't really care either. Why adopt into the family.
