Dear Colleagues,

The deadline to propose a workshop, presentation or panel for the September 23rd conference has been extended to Wednesday, August 10th! To propose a workshop, panel or presentation of interest to educators of any level, please visit:

The 10th Annual Maine GIS Educators Conference will be held in conjunction with the Maine GIS User Group's annual meeting on Friday, September 23rd at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast.

Also, please let me know if there is a topic you'd like to see covered at the conference.

Remember, the conference also includes a student poster session, and this year, students attend free.

Stay cool!

Dear Colleagues,

I hope your summer is going along swimmingly! The 10th Annual Maine GIS Educators Conference will be held in conjunction with the Maine GIS User Group's annual meeting on Friday, September 23rd at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast.

September is right around the corner, so we're putting out a call for proposals for workshops, presentations and/or panels for education track.

To propose a workshop, presentation or panel of interest to educators, visit:

The deadline for submissions is August 5th.

Also, please let me know if there is a topic you'd like to see covered at the conference. We may be able to rustle up presenters for popular ideas.

Remember, the conference also includes a student poster session, and this year, students attend free.

Stay cool!
