pls ask US House and US Sen not to cut Medicaid

Dear Friends of Americans with Disabilities,

The US House and US Senate are working on their "budget reconciliation" process, with the House planning to mark up the reconciliation bill this Thursday. There is the potential for there to be large cuts to Medicaid, which would impact people with disabilities, including people on the HCBS waivers (Section 18/19/20/21/29).

Please contact all four members of Maine's congressional delegation with a simple message: ask them to NOT CUT MEDICAID. (If you want to elaborate, you can say "no cuts, no caps, no block grants".) It's important to convey to the delegation that cuts to Medicaid from the federal level will adversely impact Mainers with disabilities--the state can't make it up.
