We had success locating the Thick-Billed Murre in Rockport Harbor. He came in very close, as did a Belted Kingfisher. Moving on to Warren, the pair of Barrows Goldeneye were immediately by the bridge in town. Great views! Unfortunately, they spooked and flew toward Payson Park; we were not able to spot them again.

1:00 PM: My husband Paul, Evan Obercian, and I were also just observing the Thick-billed Murre in Rockport Harbor. The bird surfaced very close to us (on the wharf near the harbormaster's office) and offered nice visual comparisons with nearby Red-Necked and Horned Grebes.
