Wildlands Chucks - no

Hi all,

I went to the Wildlands- north entrance last night and had no luck with the chucks.  I stayed there from about 8:30 to 10:30pm.  I had some Whips and Nighthawks calling but no Chucks.  I think I was in the right place.  I went as far as the second bridge where you have to stop and park if you drive in, stopping to listen on the way in and out.  What a wonderful place, a real treasure.  I I had no idea it was there and I've been coming to Maine since 1970 or so.  Even though I missed them I did see some cool stuff there and on the way back to Rte. 1.  I must come back again someday during the day and again at night for the night birds.  Thanks again to Rob and Nancy for the help.
