Black-billed cuckoo, Gorham

I’ve not had time to post ’til now, but on Thursday morning the 17th I was delighted to both hear and see a black-billed cuckoo. I confess I did not know the call so “asked Merlin.” It was just across the street and flew into a tree by our yard; with binoculars I was able to get a good look before it flew again. It continued to call/sing for quite a while as it moved back further into the woods. Made my day!
