Yesterday morning I spotted one adult White-crowned Sparrow across the street from my house while walking the dog. Last evening I had two adults under my feeders. Just now, I had four adults all under my feeders at once. They've been hanging out with a larger group of White-throated Sparrows. Nice treat in the yard.
Also worth mentioning that Purple Finches continue to have a big presence in my yard. Today there has been around a dozen but I had close to 30 on Tuesday.
The show out the living room window can make it hard to leave and go birding elsewhere!
