Chukar in Plymouth

Yesterday a relative spotted this partridge-like bird around his home, which is surrounded by fields and woods.  While the picture quality is not great, it is clearly a Chukar. I had neither seen nor heard about this bird before.  The all about birds link is interesting and informative.     Jim

We live near a hunting dog trial area and see escaped Chukar every few years.  Any Chukar you see is an escaped bird from a farm.
