We were there yesterday Jan 2nd from about 12:30pm till 2pm. The eagle was on an island across from the Gray Havens Inn. The sheriff? police?? did show up and ask if you are parking near the inn to please park only on 1 side of the road and off tar as much as possible to let traffic/pedestrians pass safely. The Inn owners were awesome, the weather..well not so much :)

Tracy and I just had the bird at public boat ramp Doug described near Thorpe Preserve in W. BOOTHBAY. WOW!!!!
