what kind of bird is "birdie sanders"?

A "small bird" landed on the podium in Portland, OR on Friday at a
Bernie Sanders rally. Has anyone been able to ID it? Is it a House
Finch maybe?

I haven't been able to tell from video or photos on line.

There's a long discussion (mostly without politics, not sure how we managed that) on the MaineBirds Facebook page.  The conclusion is female House Finch, which is reportedly common in Oregon.
