I just want to make sure that the word got out to those who had not
heard from the Captain.

Per Captain Pete Reynolds:

"Unfortunately, we have to cancel the trip. The wind is forecast to
continue to blow hard offshore through tomorrow, with winds out of the
northeast gusting to 25-30 mph. These conditions will create waves high
enough that it would be very uncomfortable for us to travel in, as well
as making it very difficult to locate and attempt to watch birds or whales".

Let's hope for next year!

Hi all,
FYI...With winds and seas forecast to be much lower further north and east, we are still a go from Boothbay Harbor tomorrow.

Of course, forecasts can change, but it’s looking pretty good. We also don’t have to go nearly as far offshore to find good ledges.
