Jim, Marie Jordan and I have been watching a woodcock feeding in a thawed portion of our back lawn here in Scarborough. It’s been here since just before 4pm. The ground appears to be soft enough for the bird to probe and eat. Hope s/he tanks up before the next storm hits!
