Subject: brief note -- inland Eiders
To:
maine...@colby.edu6 a.m. this morning, crossing the Penobscot at I-395, I estimate 200 Common Eiders were flying upriver and overhead. I'd be interested to hear what folks know about their inland movements and ultimate destination.
Also, 2 Tree Swallows, Essex Woods during a 5 minute stop-off en route to Houlton (my route, not theirs!).
