A NORTHERN LAPWING was photographed in Thomaston yesterday (11 Dec). No updates on sightings today, but birders in the area should check open fields, especially tilled fields or areas where you'd expect to find Killdeer (for example: https://ebird.org/map/killde?neg=true&env.minX=&env.minY=&env.maxX=&env.maxY=&zh=false&gp=false&ev=Z&excludeEx=&mr=1-12&bmo=1&emo=12&yr=all&byr=1900&eyr=2022).
