Weather:
Moderate winds and heavy cloud cover to start the day. Visibility became heavily impacted around 1040 (EST) and precipitation began about 1110 (EST) quickly becoming heavy rain. The count was closed for the day early due to lack of visibility and heavy rain at 1145 (EST

Raptor Observations:
The second hour of the count produced a few migrant raptors.

Non-raptor Observations:
19 species were observed from the summit today. No non-raptor species were deemed migrating.

Predictions:
Cooler temperature and strong winds tomorrow. Winds are expected to start out of the west shifting northwest by afternoon. Wind direction is not undesirable for migration, however predicted wind speed does not give me much hope for observing many, if any, birds migrating.
