Hi, I am new to Maine since last summer. I have purchased a parcel of land in rural Brunswick, near Cox Pinnacle. I am planning on landscaping in a manner that attracts birds readily. I know some things and have ideas, but I could really use some more learned advice now in the planning stage. I've got woods, meadows and fields, loads of running water, a little pond...  Anybody in the group really knowledgeable about this sort of thing and willing to walk with me on the property a bit, sharing ideas? Thanks for considering.  -Andy

Andy in Brunswick,
It would be worth your while to visit Maine Audubon at 20 Gilsland Farm Rd, Falmouth, to learn about their program Bringing Nature Home, and landscaping with native plants.

Yes, they have a great program. Also visit Freeport Wild Birds Unlimited. The owners Derek & Jeanette Lovitch have a great store and a wealth of knowledge.

Hello Tammy, et al.
Thank you for the kind words, and yes, we are happy to help. However, please note that we are a local, independent store that is not part of a national franchise.
