Same thing has happened to me in the past few years. Raccoon or bear, take your pick. That looks pretty neat so my guess would be raccoon. When the bear visited he scattered and broke feeders over the yard. The best thing to do is take the feeder in at night then the animal hopefully gets the message there is no food around and looks elsewhere.
