Its official-there everywhere atleast in Mid-Coast Maine

Pine Grosbeaks are truly everywhere !  I spent the better part of this afternoon checking flowering crabs from Waldoboro to Wiscasset and I cannot believe the amount of Grosbeaks I encountered. They were literally on 40% of the trees that I checked,anywhere from 3 birds to 15. I have never seen so many in so many places in my 40 years of birding.
