Thanks to Bill Glanz' sighting of a clay-colored sparrow yesterday, the Bangor Home Depot had more business in the field next to the store than in the store this morning. The Black-billed Cuckoos are becoming reliably seen on the railroad bed in Essex Woods in Bangor. I saw a pair this morning along with a Virginia Rail and several Soras.
