New Sweden: American bittern and Bobolinks

Both near a small bog/pond on Station Road just below the Town Hall.  The bittern was in the water and on what passes for an island in the middle of the pond.  Two bobolinks (unusual in my experience here) were on the telephone wire just above the pond. 

Later, we saw a Northern harrier flying, then plunging, over potato fields on Plante Road in Caribou.
