All:

Marshall Iliff and I birded the Biddeford Pool area this morning from around 6:30 until 10:45am, and then I continued (alone) south along the coast hitting a few spots, eventually making it to Cape Neddick just in time for the wind to really kick in and bird activity to completely die.  We managed to scrounge up some good birds around East Point and the neighborhood at Biddeford Pool.  Highlights:

HOODED WARBLER (3) - all males.  One at East Point Sanctuary, one behind the parking lot for Biddeford Pool Beach on the trail to the spiritual center, one along Granite Point Road

CLAY-COLORED SPARROW (3) - one at East Point Sanctuary, two together at the edge of the parking lot for Biddeford Pool Beach

LARK SPARROW (1) - spiffy adult at the corner of 7th and 1st Street in Biddeford Pool

BLUE GROSBEAK (4) - three at East Point Sanctuary (including one very worn, pale bird) and one along Airport Ave Ext. on the north side of the Cape Neddick neighborhood

DICKCISSEL (1) - at East Point Sanctuary

I wonder how many Hooded Warblers will pass Sandy Point tomorrow morning?
