Sargeant Mountain help needed

I'm headed up to Prospect Harbor this weekend and would like to take a walk up around Sargaent Mountain. Are the roads closed in the winter or can someone let me know how to get up there. I believe Ann Brayton has seen a few snowy owls up that way and I would like to see if I can spot them. Any help would be greatly appreiciated. Thanks.

There have been up to six seen in the area this last month...matter of being there when they are.

Thanks for the information...tough to get up the mountain in the winter? I imagine they are at the top?
