> Rain delayed the start of the count by one hour today. Overcast skies gave
> way for a half hour of partly sunny skies this afternoon. Winds were
> variable and stayed relatively calm for the duration of the count.

> Raptor Observations:
> Raptors started flying this afternoon with several local pairs displaying
> near the summit. A Red-shouldered Hawk was the first migrant of the
> morning. Turkey Vultures moved through in a small group this afternoon and
> several hawks followed shortly after.

> Bohemian Waxwings visited the count site again today. A group of
> White-winged Crossbills flew by the summit in the mid-morning. In total,
> 20 species were observed from Bradbury during the count.

> could slow migration down. Between snow squalls, sunny skies may cause some
