Snowy Owl, Hampden

A non-birder friend of mine just reported "almost hitting Hedwig flying across the road" while driving Route 202 in Hampden, heading toward Bangor. Those aren't very specific directions, but maybe someone will be driving through the area tomorrow and double-check the fields along that section of road.
I believe this to be about where it was seen, though the location is approximate: map

I'll head out there today, Friday, after work, and will be driving that road on Saturday morning as well.  That spot is not far from the airport, either. 

I've been watching the ball fields behind my school, hoping against hope an owl might think they look like tundra, but the kids out for recess probably dash that hope.
