Wow, we just saw at least 15 flickers feeding on a neighborhood lawn. That was the count but even more dawdled and flew. Maybe a 20-count? I have never seen so many northern flickers in one place in my life.

Similar experience at Laurel Hill Cemetery last Thursday. Lots of flickers, and plenty of kinglets, both kinds, up close

Large numbers of kinglets thru this location in Saco again today; about a mile from Laurel Hill.
