Dates

Hey Guys, I have talked personally with a few of you about a guys get
together at the beach. I have a condo that can sleep at least 8 so the
# of people should not be a problem. The dates might be. I have class
until the 5th of August and renter until the 6th. It is free after that
but I go back to class the 22nd of August. I do not anticipate any
renters after that date. I do have to make a trip to Phoenix on that
break so if you guys want to do this we would need to move relatively
quick. I know for the guys here in FL it is not all that big a deal but
our out of towners need to know sometime soon so they can plan.

Another idea is possible Labor Day because we could do a Thurs to
Monday, plus that is the 1st week of college football.

What about getting a house with a pool if we get enough commitments.
If we've got enough locals $500+/night is not that big of deal. That
way we don't have to worry so much about offending neighboors, bbq on
balconies and being loud. Granted we'll probably all be in bed by 10p
and up at 6 reading the paper, but a boy can dream. Not to mention, I
think we might be talking over 12 people especially with a few folks
from out-of-town. Steve's offer is very generous, maybe what we need
is a count of who will attend and how many nights we should reserve 2
or 3. To see what our true needs are.

Good thoughts, Orca. Probably the first thing to do, is decide on the
date. Labor Day(Sept) may be the best time for everyone to get a long
weekend. If that date works, then who can come that weekend? That will
determine what we need for lodging.
