is there a way to reorder filter criteria?

i have a ton of filters... some of which have lots of criteria.

for example, one of my modes is: tennis player.

i have a 'tennis' filter that lists a couple of dozen players, some of
whom i no longer play with. their criteria, of course, are smack in
the midst of the several dozen players.

i would like to not burden mailsmith or my mac with any unnecessary
checks.

is there a way to delete criteria from the middle of the list, or re-
order criteria so i can just whomp on the 'less' button until they're
gone?

Option-click on one to select it, then the "Fewer" button should remove it.
