Mailsend it´s a nice solution !  Congratulations.

I´m using
https://code.google.com/p/mailsend/ to send mail to Amazon SES

*************
Test 1 - Suceeded OK - I send mail to my ISP - OK

c:\mailsend\mailsend1.17b12.exe -attach "C:\file.html,text/html" -to xx...@yyy.com -from x...@yyy.com -auth-login -port 25 -smtp "xxxxxxx" -sub test +cc +bc -v -user x...@yyy.com -pass "xaddasdadasdas"

*************

Test 2 - PROBLEMS - I´m trying to send mail to AmazonSES - PROBLEMS with TLS and SSL

c:\mailsend\mailsend1.17b12.exe -attach "C:\file.html,text/html" -to xx...@yyy.com -from x...@yyy.com -starttls -port 587 -auth-login -smtp "email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com" -sub test +cc +bc -v -user XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXZZZUUUUUUUUUUUIIIIIIIII -pass "xaddasdadasdas"

The Authentication it´s OK, but I get the error:
"500 Error: bad syntax"

Log:

I also tested -with ssl (ssl -port 465 -auth-login) - same error

Where´s the error ? Where´s the "Bad Syntax" ??

Thanks.

The SMTP server does not seem to like the MAIL FROM command. According to  SMTP RFC, the command is
MAIL FROM: <email address> and I never experienced any SMTP server that complained about it.
If you can find out what syntax the server is expecting, I can add a flag to support this. But this is a non-standard behavior I think.

Thanks.

Amazon SES , the email system from Amazon,
requires a diferent user name format, without @

example:
username: hAKJDHKL72398173890730912378

Thanks

So there is not need to change anything in mailsend, correct? The from address is specified with -f.

Thanks.
