Hello!

Many compliments for the great job, Mailsend is fantastic!

I have a problem with the body message.

I use -attach "body.txt,text/plain,i" but the file is added as attachment and no inline.

The message is sent without the body.

What is wrong?

I can't use -M because I need a lot of body lines and the command line has a length limit.

Thanks!

Thanks for your answer.

The problem IS THE SAME!

No body and the text file is an attachment.

This is my command line:

mailsend -v -to XXX -from XXX -ssl -port 465 -auth-login -smtp XXX -sub XXX -user XXX -pass XXX -attach "body.txt,MIME type,i"

BODY.TXT is simple text file with what I want to send as body of the mail message.

What mail client are you using to view the message?

I've tested your command and now I see that you're using MIME.
You should use "text/plain" instead.

So, the correct command is:
mailsend -v -to XXX -from XXX -ssl -port 465 -auth-login -smtp XXX -sub XXX -user XXX -pass XXX -attach "body.txt,text/plain,i"

Tested with TB: it works.

Please read my first post!

I try with text/plain but it doesn't work.

After I wrote my first post Muhammad answer me to read the FAQ and use MIME.

I found the problem!

In my tests I was sending the message to a certified mail.

This special kind on mail Insert the real sent message in an attachment (file .EML).

In this case the inline attachment technique doesn't work if I use Thunderbird to read the message.

If I use my iPhone, all works fine.

Very strange...

Yep!
The problem only arises when sending to an italian PEC.
I confirm and can only say that using -M with some trick could be the only possible solution right now.
