Third Annual Mailman School DC Career Week for Mailman School students
Dear alumni,
As a Mailman School graduate who successfully made the
transition to a career in the Washington DC area, we are reaching out to you on
behalf of your school to see if you are willing to give back to future
generations of Mailman School students during our Third Annual Mailman School
DC Career Week for Mailman School students, during the week of March 16-18,
2016.
This is the third year the Mailman School is organizing this
trip, and we are hoping our dedicated alumni might be willing to help our
students with any or all of the following: 1. Meeting, one-on-one, with students who have expressed
interest in your career or organization. 2. Meeting with a small group of students interested in
your organization/employer, and/or to organize a group tour of your organization's
offices. (In order to participate, it is ideal if your organization is located
within 5-10 minutes walking distance of public transportation; and ideally less
than 1 hour from downtown DC.) 3. Offering home hospitality to a graduate student on a budget by allowing a student to stay with you for a few nights.
4. Attending a happy hour event-to be organized-to mix
and mingle with students and fellow alumni. (We will be in touch with further
details regarding the mixer, though it's likely to be the evening of Thursday,
March 17.)
If any or all of the above seem interesting to you-even if
you are not available during March 16-18 but would like to be involved in
future events or mentoring students-please take a few minutes to fill out our

arrangements with students. We will be in touch with interested alumni in
