hypermail new user , examples are poor.

I need to make the htmls of one email folder , in Kmail (suse 9.1.)

My mail folder is mail/mywife ( only this mail folder)

(actually in /home/me/Mail/mywife/cur)

in this folder are 500 emails.

I copied all these mail files to a folder called home/me/test

I issued the hypermail -d /home/me/test -m /home/me/test

i tried every possible way to enter the dir names, /test or "test"
and all I get is

No mails to output.

can some one help ,thanks a bunch?

My first mistake was that , Kmail uses maildir format by default (suse
9.1)
so I am switching that and then trying to export my old mail to the new
inbox MBOX file.
when I get done, I will test hypermail again and post my results.

I got it all to work correctly.
what i did in a nut shell.
in executed Kmail.
then I rc local folders and created mbox1 (with mbox format)
then I copied all my mail from inbox (maildir) to mbox1 (mbox).
then I shut down Kmail.

last I did the below:

jerry@linux:~> su xxxxxx
Password:
linux:/home/jerry # hypermail -p -d "test" -m
"/home/userme/Mail/mbox1"
produced a perfect arcive.
I am very happy!!

Ps:burned a CD with is content and it is very much accessible as and
archive.
