So far I am loving IMP, but I do have a couple of questions that I didn't see
answers for in the FAQ.
1) How do I get my sent mail to go into my sent folder?
2) Is there a preference somewhere for accepting mail in HTML format?
Thanks for your help!

Go to the Options settings, select Personal Information, Edit your identities,
select your default identity (or whatever) in the top selection box, and
then check the box "Save sent mail" and then if needed set your sent
mail folder in the selection box below that.
> 2) Is there a preference somewhere for accepting mail in HTML format?
This is in the Admin FAQ. It is perhaps hard to find as it is in a
discussion of attachements and not just about html attachments or MIME
parts. But see:
http://www.horde.org/faq/admin/print.php#c14
for general info. Note the warning about enabling html display -- this is
very dangerous if you are not otherwise filtering your html email parts!

You do not tell which version of IMP you are using, but with the newest
release, the sent mail folder can be set in options, under identities.
You can have different sent mail folders for each identity, or you can set a
default in imp/config/prefs.php and lock that to make it sidewide.
> 2) Is there a preference somewhere for accepting mail in HTML format?
I can't remember exactly where to set this, but you can set IMP to show HTML
mails inline, somewhere in the MIME framework.

Shouldn't matter as far as the FAQ entry I gave you dealing with the
attachments/mime-parts viewing. But it will matter as far as the sent-mail
answer I gave you.
Maybe someone else can address sent-mail folders in IMP 2.2

As far as I know IMP 2.2.x dosn't support the use of a sent-mail folder.
(At least I don't see one in the old 2.2.5 we have here).

IMP has supported a sent-mail folder since 1.something. It only became a
user-level preference (as opposed to a configuration option) in 3.0.
