[imp] IMAP : insecure server advertised AUTH=PLAIN

Hello,

I'm able to login via IMP but see following error in the Horde log:

HORDE [debug] [imp] IMAP errors: SECURITY PROBLEM: insecure server
advertised AUTH=PLAIN

I'm using a custom password file with MD5 authentication schema.
What is this error related to ?
How can I correct it ?

Use TLS or SSL for the IMAP connection.
