IMP and maildrop

I have an SME 7 box and the imp-ingo-horde configured by the SME's
installation. This box runs a local email server with
fetchmail-qmail-maildrop, and maildrop filters are set up for all users
that need this feature. I need the users to be able to occasionaly use
imp, mostly for its additional fetchmail capability (so the users can
add "non-standard" email sources). My problem is that imp's fetchmail
bypasses maildrop and feeds the messages directly in the Inbox. While I
understand that I can set up filters in imp/ingo, I don't want to
duplicate the existing filtering.

So question(s):
Is there a way to tell imp's fetchmail to feed the incoming mail to
maildrop before or after applying its own filters?
