When visiting the gear -> administration -> configuration -> "Check
for newer versions", a blank screen comes back. In my apache error
log, I receive this error message....

[Tue May 07 08:01:48 2013] [error] [client 50.23.65.43] PHP Fatal
error: Call to undefined method PEAR_Error::getName() in
/usr/src/horde/horde/horde/admin/config/index.php on line 82, referer:
https://www.<foo>/webmail/admin/config/

This could be something I'm doing wrong, but not sure. I know that
this button has worked in the past, but don't know what happened. I'm
running the version of Horde (horde) 5.1.0-git. Being that this is
the dev version, I'm thinking that this functionality is disabled to
force the user/admin to use git. Just thought I'd ask though...

Thanks!
Mike

You have a broken package.xml in your tree.

I am also getting the same error message as above when trying to do a versuib check.
I am using the current git repo 5.2.0-git which includes the following content in package.xml :

<date>2013-11-22</date>
<version>
<release>5.2.0</release>
<api>5.2.0</api>
</version>

Is this the right one, and if not: I would appreciate any suggestions how to fix the package.xml in my tree.

Thank you,
Michael
