Hi,

I installed squid and added parent proxy as:

cache_peer myproxy.com parent 8080 0
never_direct allow all

I changed proxy settings accordingly in firefox, chrome browser but for any site I get prompted for user password.

squid is on windows 7 corporate network and I tried my network user and password with and without domain ex. IN\first.last or just first.last as user name.

But it just keeps prompting for user password and does not let me through.

Please guide how to get around so probably I do not need to enter any user password.

Regards,

Miten.
