Hi,

I new to this list, so i'm very sorry if i'm asking an old question.
I've checked the FAQ and searched the list archives without luck.

I'm running squid-2.4.1 (from Debian 2.2) on an Ultra Sparc2. My problem
is that some websites are "dead". When disabling the proxy, I can access
the website fine, but through the proxy nothing happens. Most (more than
98%) pages are accessible through the proxy. The sites that doesn't work
with squid are not related in any way that I can see.

All help apreciated.

Here's an example of one that works and one that doesn't:

Trying www.google.com

web1:~# telnet proxy.fre.telia.dk 3128

You missed to include the most important info:
You are running kernel version 2.4 and have enabled ECN support, rihgt?

Just do
# echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_ecn

and it will work.
IBM obviously have a broken firewall.
