Hi
I have to start somewhere.
It seems that sometimes squid seems to crash and I have not really got the knowledge to even diagnose if it has crashed, other than seeing if the service has stopped, let alone why it has crashed.
Last time I had issues it seemingly hadn't crashed, but it displayed the behaviour of it crashing.... i.e. no connectivity in browser.
Anyway I am wondering if I can get help here to diagnose issues.
The /var/log/squid/cache.log is this the main place to find problems?
I am running squid on an old desktop computer so I suppose that's not going to help
I have another squid running in a VM.
I have made the cache size larger.
What's the best way to diagnose problems with squid?
Thanks
