[Snort-users] fatal error

hi !
whan I start snort I see in /var/log/messeges the following line:
Oct 18 12:58:16 snort snort: FATAL ERROR: Undefined variable name:
(/opt/argus/snort/etc/../rules/exploit.rules:21): SMTP_SERVERS
why is that ?
on snort.conf I entered the folowing

# List of SMTP servers on your network
var 212.143.234.2 $HOME_NET

is that the problem?

Your SMTP_SERVER variable should be something like this:

var SMTP_SERVERS $HOME_NET
