This Pizza Oven is wonderful, quick, easy and fun.. I recommend this product, especially for a family w/children who love to make their own pizza!
I used to own one of these back when I lived in dorm style housing. We didn't have an oven, so I bought one of these. It worked perfectly, was easy to clean, and I never had a real problem with it. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that if you do have access to a good oven, the appliance is a little redundant and takes up too much space. If you live somewhere with no oven, and you love pizza, I recommend it.
We have owned our pizza cooker now for well over a year. We use it for pizza, but also will load it up with mini corn dogs, tater tots, frozen breaded fish, etc. The coated pan works well and is easily cleaned and stored. It has worked consistently well without preheating or problems! We highly recommend this very handy device. In fact, I'm on Amazon buying another one so my hubby can have one at his office!
Yes, it does work - with some exceptions. If your like me, there are some nights when a fast pizza is just all I need. Well then, this is your product! Take a frozen pizza from the freezer, slap that baby on the Pizzaz and Presto (a little play on words)16 minutes later your eating hot pizza cooked as good as any oven stone could - without firing up that energy soaking oven. Now the only exception is, if your like us and every now and then you take a frozen pizza and juice it up - well depending on how much topping you use it will probably cook better in the oven. Not to say that pizzas that we add toppings to don't turn out. Just pizzas with major amounts of toppings that get thick in the middle. But those are tough to get perfect even in the oven. Experiment and don't be afraid of this guy, it works perfect 98% of the time. Even I'm not that perfect - well, almost.
the product is very good for baking pizza and it is crusty from below and roasted from top, the dough texture is well done from inside, also it is working as hot air from top, it is not only heating element but also hot air that roast the topping of pizza. i recommend it for making good pizza.
The fast easy way to make pizza. From freezer to perfect in minutes. Revolving tray turns the pizza while it cooks for perfect even baking. Selectable top and bottom heating elements. Adjust for bubbly toppings and crisper crusts. Non-stick baking pan. Adjustable timer with audible alarm.
This 1,235-watt countertop oven makes pizza in about half the time required by a conventional oven. You don't need to preheat it--it begins rotating and baking the moment you plug it in. There are independently controlled top and bottom heating elements, so all types (frozen or fresh) and sizes (7 to 12 inches) of pizza can be custom baked. With a rising-crust pizza, for example, you should run the lower heating element for 10-12 minutes before turning on the top element. For a crisper crust, bake the pizza with both heating elements, then finish it off with a few minutes of bottom-only heating. For extra cooking time on your toppings, leave the top element on a little longer. A timer with automatic shutoff lets you set cooking times precisely, and a cooking-time guide for various pizza types is printed on the pizza maker. For safety, the appliance shuts off automatically if it overheats. With the 13-1/4-inch-diameter baking pan in place, the pizza maker is 13-1/4 inches wide, 9-1/2 inches high, and 17-1/2 inches deep. (The baking pan can be removed for more compact storage.) It carries a two-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
